This prestigious award celebrates a person’s lifetime contribution to the film industry. The announcement was made by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and the award will be officially presented on October 8, 2024, at the 70th National Film Awards ceremony. This comes soon after Chakraborty received another major honor, the Padma Bhushan, one of India’s highest civilian awards.
